hey yall!(yes im from texas) this is my first post on the ranger station, ive been a member of ford trucks.com for 11 or 12 years now but ive been getting aggrevated with the site here lately due to the fact of the bad attitudes and the way people respond to questions and more times than not your question will NEVER get a response which tends to be extremely aggrevating... anyways ive heard you are a better more friendly group of ford fanatics so here i am lol i was just going to throw this out there and see what some opinions were,i have a '90 bii 4x4 and the 7.5 is on its last leg (PO ran it out of oil because of a bad wheel seal) i have an 8 inch rear end out of a '70 model mustang thats in really good shape from drum to drum but its 2 inches wider than the 7.5...i called currie and they can rework my housing to fit my bronco like it came with it from the factory and send me new axles for $700 bucks shipped to my door..im wanting to use this axle for 2 reasons, 1 to be different from everone using 8.8's and 9's and 2 because i have it and i dont have to prowl around salvage yards....what do yall think about having an 8 inch rear axle in a bii?
