On my list of possibilities:::

There's one I'm looking at with no AC but I wanted to know how difficult an add is (google says it's not fun), and would it go next to the power steering reservoir?

Mounting the compressor would be the easy part.

Adding the evaporator housing... controls... and everything else would be the harder parts of the conversion.

On top of what Uncle Gump said the fan shroud on the radiator would need to be changed. The trucks with A/C have a shroud that wraps around the entire fan for better air flow. The shroud on the non-A/C models is more of a guard to protect people while the engine is running than anything to do with air flow.
