New guy from TN with BII and Ranger

I've been lurking around here for about 6 months now and figured I would finally show myself. I bought an 86 EB bronco II from a freind back in August. Paid $400 for it and knew it needed alot of work to driveable. It runs but theres somthing wrong with the wiring. As soon as you touch the hot side to the battery it starts. I have no clue what im doing with wiring so maybe i can get some answers from someone around here. My transfer case is busted too so im looking for a manual BW 1350 and the floor pans a rusted out. I plan on just wheeling it when i get it fixed since i already have a dd. I just need to get it running as cheap as possible because im a sophmore in high school and only have a part time job...anyways on to the pics

Both are pretty nice. I see potential in that old BII

If it's starting when you give it juice then I think it's the starter solenoid on the passenger firewall. It must be stuck.

I put a new solenoid on there today. It fixed it but i think i need a new ignition switch because it wont even turn over when i try to start it
