Hey guys, new to this forum from Central Illinois. I'm a die hard Ford fan with an 08 F250 DD and an 00' Ranger in the garage collecting dust. I know, i know, what a shame...believe me i wish it was done tomorrow. I plan on doing a sas 44/60 with a 302 5.0 and making a fun reliable truck. I'm a welding tech and part time instructor at a local college. I love fabricating parts for anything, kind of like a personal challenge. Most of my mods on my powerstroke are custom parts off my cnc. I appreciate the info and time put into this site. Can't wait to start my own build thread soon. Thanks guys

Welcome to TRS........and wish that I had a CNC.....I'd settle for a manual lathe and milling machine.

I have access to a machine shop at work, helps keep the clutter out of the garage as much as possible i guess... even though i fill it with other crap haha. I will say a cnc has made things so much easier, and opened doors for things i can't see paying a ton of money for. rawrrediffer86 where are you out of? And welcome to you to!

Welcome. Got any pics of the trucks? Can't wait for the build thread.

Welcome from another land of corn frields in Nebraska.

Sent from, wait how did this get here?

Ah....Nebraska, I went sight seeing there once. Seen a tree and a tumble weed, all in a 10 hour drive haha. Seems remarkably close to Illinois

Thanks! but the pics aren't showing up for me. It may be the web scanning appliance where I work filtering them out. I will log in and check them out when I get home.

No for some reason they uploaded but they wont show on my comp either..I read the "posting pics" but apperantly im slower than normal, i copied the img code from photobucket and added it to the "insert image" and got nothing? hm...

Yeah its not much to look at :icon_rofl:

Nice trucks :icon_thumby:

Just needs a wash and a little bit of wax and it will be as good as new. What's important is the finished product you see when looking at it. I use the word "finish" lightly because are we ever really done when modifying vehicles? I love the color matched grill on the SD too. Looks like it could you a lift too though. :D
