New Guy From Texas

Hey everyone, John here (Mitch). I'm just west of Fort Worth Texas. I race a Class 5U bug (#524) but I am helping a buddy get his 94 Ranger prerunner ready to race here in Texas. I'm a member of TDRA (Texas Desert Racing Association) and have been racing with them for 2 seasons now. I found a cheap Ranger prerunner for a buddy of mine and convinced him that he needed it. Now I have been tasked with research. Haha.
The truck has some good stuff in it and some not so good stuff in it. I'm here to learn as much as I can to help him get the most for his $$ and have a good time along the way.
94 Ranger extended cab (as it sits now)
4.0 and a 5 speed manual
Deaver 10 leafs in the rear with King 18" triple bypasses, 8.8 with 4.56 and a locker.
Custom twin I beam and 16" Race Runner coilover.
Full engine, cab and bed cage.
Fiberwerx front and rear fenders and hood.
10" Lowrance GPS
35" KM2's
Still got a long way to go but it will be a blast when we are done, then we can see if he can hang with my lil ol bug..... HahahaCheers, Mitch

I don't see your pics. I looked [edit button] and you have some from facebook but I don't know why they don't show. Perhaps it's because I personally block everything facebook?

You could upload as an attachment and then embed that attachment into a post.

At the top of the page is a blue button "User C P". That is the user control panel. Click that and scroll down near the bottom left and look under "miscellaneous"for "attachments". Click that and follow instructions.
be aware that there is limited storage so it's best to use an off site picture host and link from there. I used to use photobucket [PB] but they changed their TOS and everyone's pics are gone. There are other free sites and I have a thread about that;

Thanks, yup, you ain't far from me at all. Know anyone local that can lend some knowledge on a 94 Ranger with a 4.0? We are trying to eliminate as much vacuum and electrical as possible as this will be a strictly off road desert truck.
