New to TRS, looks like a good site for tech info.
I have 99 ranger 2WD S/C. that i'm having some gremilins with. figure there is lots of help here. (computers)
I've just sold my 86 ranger 4X4 that was built, too old to get into it any more.
So maybe I can offer advice to other's on lifts or 5.0 conversions.
Lookin fordward to getting to know you guys.

Welcome!

Yes, TRS is a great site.

What do you know about 1990 SpeedDensity 5.0L's? I have a lope or miss somewhere and can't track it down. I have tested all the sending units, and know they are alll good.

PS: what part of Alberta you at?

Hi Dishtowel,
Back in 1990 when I did my 5.0 swap it was a PITA to do without a donor car.
I did, 300hp with a 4 BBL.
Now for your lope or miss, if you have tested the sensors and they are good, then I would look at plugs and wires.(if already done then)
I would do a compression test and leak down, try piece of paper at tail pipe see what it does.
If I recall, some of the 5.0l back then, had bad camshafts, one lobe would weardown and cause lope or miss.
Try looking at that, let us know.

I'm from Spruce Grove.
