New girl from madison,WI

Hey, My boyfriend talked me into buying a ford ranger since he HAD one and now only i have one so i decided to join this website because he thought it would be a good idea. Last summer we took his explorer up north wheeling and i had a lot of fun. The thing is ancient and it shocked me that it never broke once. Instead my friends jeep wrangler broke the transmission and they drove the explorer 200 miles home with no rear shocks no rear brakes no sway bars and turned out tierod ends because the stock pitmanarm wouldn't come off. It wasnt registered and had no insurance so that encouraged me to buy a ford myself. I will get some pictures up soon of my truck and you can give me some tips if you want. ~Britt~

Rangers can become an addiction. My wife has been bugging me about getting her own since driving mine off-road.

Welcome Britt! Were you all up off-roading at McCasling Mt? Heard that's a great place, about the only one around. A bunch of us Ranger owners and a few others got together last May in Madison for a little meet and greet at the Quaker Steak and Lube and had a good time, then went for a cruse. Think another one is planned for this Spring, when ever that is coming. Anything is always welcome.

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that i also wanted to get a truck because i have been in 3 accidents last year two not my fault and then a recent accident in may when i totaled my jetta because i pulled in front of an ambulance haha. so they call me crash, but i've been lucky in my ford so far. hopefully i won't curse the company for all of you lol. Replying to Mac- yeah thats where we were. we camped out there and drove all day. some people brought their four wheelers but it was a bunch of fun in the explorer. There was a lot of water so we had to be a little careful around the big ruts and deep mud wholes, but there was rock climbing and some really steep hills. It was fun and i would love to go again. we should have a ranger station meet there sometime.
