new gear ratio?

I just put 255/70/16 tires on my 2wd 97 ford ranger, should I have to change my gear ratio

You don't say what the original size was but that's only a 30 inch tyre so it should be alright in my opinion.

that probably wouldn't be too bad. what Engine do you have? I have a '93 2.3L and When I put 17s on mine changed my acceleration a good deal
