Hello everyone. Am Neal and a true lover of the earlier Ford Ranger, I have a Mustang in the stable but that is for another site. I gave away my first ranger to someone that had done some great work for me, so I was looking and found a 2001 XLT 4 door 4.0, it belong to a retired navy guy that bought it new, it has all the goodies and extremely clean low mileage, just went over 100,000 but exterior needs a little attention, it will get it. since I have lost all want to 4 x 4 being 2 x 4 is good for me, in south Texas the only four wheeling we do is on large 4 lane roads lol.
I will be doing some mods over the next year, lift kit, front bumper, lights things like that, I want to replace the carpet and headliner just for the hell of it, and because I know one darn good interior guy, just short of going 302, I want to wait until I don't have to do smog testing then the way I want to do that will be far more pleasurable.
