New from SC

I'm thinking of getting a mid nineties Ranger for light hauling for house projects, etc. I used to have a 98 flareside extended cab, 3.0/5spd that I bought new as a daily driver, but found I didn't like the compromises you have to live with on a daily basis.

However, since this isn't my main car, and I want something that is a good truck (mine was) and cheap. So I'm probably gonna focus on 1995-2001 four cylinder manual trans standard cabs. I'd love a flareside, if I could find one.

Anyway, just signed up to see what issues there were and what I should look fo/look out for in a used Ranger.

Columbia area. A few months back I saw an ad for a 98 orange stepside regular cab 4cyl/5spd in your neck of the woods. Decent price, too, but I wasn't really looking back then.
