Hey i own a 1990 Ranger Xlt 2.3l SOHC who's earned her down time.

She's been sitting for about 2 years now so the oils sludge the gas is gel and shes going to need lots of work

Sitting can be very hard on engines, brakes, and people with wonky backs...but there are things you can do to reduce the damage...although if it's been sitting two years already it may need a bit of work as you say...

I had to rebuild my old carb one time after the truck sat for almost five years...but it fired right up after that and an oil change...ran beautifully...just needed brake adjustments since I didn't finish them prior to letting it sit.

What did you have planned to get it up and running after the hiatus?
