New from Indiana

I am from Indiana and will soon be picking up my third ranger. It is a 88 with the 302 swap and c6 transmission. I will say now i dont know much about the swaps. The swap is complete minus the front drive shaft so it is only 2wd right now. It does have the drive shaft it just needs to be shortened. What should i be looking for before i go and get the truck? i dont want to be taken on it and get a pile of junk. thanks

Hi, I would get as much history as you can on the truck, who did the swap ? what's new or rebuilt on the truck ? Was it a clean install and wiring ? Did they upgrade the cooling system ? Did they use Ford parts, aftermarket parts or home made parts ?
