Hey everyone. Been lurking around for about a month or so, finally decided to join as this forum has helped me a couple times already. I bought a 90 2.3 reg cab ranger with 167,xxx for 1k after my car blew and cost too much $$$ to fix. Now that im working on the truck, I have a lot of ideas for this thing. As of right now, Im getting ALL of the maintenance done on this truck as it doesnt look like its been done, ever. Has the typical oil pan, front and rear main seal leaks, coolant has never been flushed from the looks of it, needs alignment badly, axle bearings, brakes all around (no back brakes period), power steering fluid covered engine bay, trans only had 1/2 qt of fluid in it, had the shift rail leaks, PO stripped the shift lever bolt, and my tire choices are running the 205/70r14s? or the 265/70r17s on it now. I am not complaining though because i love this truck. Paid $200 for a set of 5 pro comp extreme wheels and 4 decent tires. Luckily I can do all of the work minus the alignment so I wont be spending much to get it perfect. Current plans are swapping in another 7.5 with 4.10s in it, know a guy that has one with fresh brakes and bearings for $200, (running that until I ETS and do a 9" swap), swapping some 245/65r17s on it, corbeau bucket seat, 4.0 swap, and eventual LT setup. Long way to go but its going to be a great journey.
