The salt around Chicago in the winter is pretty rough of trucks. I'm sure you knew that though. Take a good look for rot.

I'm kinda hesitant to say this, but if this person is your friend, make sure you know the true history of the truck. Nothing worse than losing a friend over something stupid.

Looks like no Ranger for me. I don’t think my 6’6” frame will fit well.
