It only took me about 10 hours to install, including moving the fridge and stove and new trim.
So far, we like it a lot, and it looks 100% better than before.

i agree looks 100 pct better i have installed that same flooring same color and all in my living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway and 1 bed room and it took about 2 days to do them all completely and it was worth it.

Nice, looks good. A hell of a lot easier than hardwood, lol.

Looks really nice. I did the same thing for the floor in my camper. It looks a million times better than bright orange shag carpet.

Good work...I hope you remembered to leave about a 1/2" all around the boarder...those boards can swell up quite a bit and cause buckling...as my sister found out...but covering that gap can be quite difficult in choosing the right trim to put down...

That's excellent...too bad I don't have the tools I need...when I moved into this place the bedroom had a base trim all around (4" prefab) and they stuck 1/4 round in front of that to hide the extra...it was a crappy job...and I couldn't get my bed against the wall (no headbaord) because it stuck out so far...

I would like to finish it properly, but they made a mess of the boards by not making them even...wonder if I can pry them from the ends to even them up...haven't bothered because it's usually dark in there and I'm not, ahem, entertaining as much as I would care to admit...

Hard to say without looking at the way it is installed.I inherited a family passdown Craftsman tablesaw, bought my own router and bits.I've a ton of woodworking mags,20+ years of addiction to new yankee workshop, this old house and others and finally got off my but to do it.Been drooling on band saws, planers and joiners.

I am not entertaining much these days, seems I've worn out another woman,ha.

My sister has her own wood shop at home...she's a fanatic too...but it's 2 hours away and a real PITA to have to go back to recut something...lol

Thanks guys!

I left about 3/8ths around everything and installed 3/4ths" 1/4 round trim.

It looks great, did you get the material at home center or flooring liquidator? And about how much can one expect to pay.I've got to make up my mind, travertine tile or wood.

I picked it up from the Home Depot, Pergo Traffic master- Hanover oak.

Our Kitchen is almost 300sqft and materials where about $550.
It's $29. a box and one box is 20sqft. the underpayment is $25 for 100sqft
Then the trim was about $7.00 per 12ft stick, I used the composite PVC trim, then there's a few tubes caulking and liquid nails.

I think that's really inexpensive for a floor that has a 30 year warranty and it looks great.
