Sorry Wicked, I just don't it's not that big of a problem unless you're sitting in a running car for very long periods of time without moving. Trust me, I don't like dumps either but I'd be highly surprised if it killed anyone. Maybe get one of those CO monitor deals and drive around in a rig with dumped exhaust and really see how much it poisons the cab.you should be paranoid about CO poisoning. its not like you'll notice until its too late.
air is a funny thing. the underside of our trucks is far from smooth and even while traveling down the freeway, there are air bubbles trapped under the truck that barely move. i wouldnt rely on airflow alone to keep me safe.
and the fact that it doesnt help the rust situation is only icing on the cake.
