New England Offical Ranger Meet!

who: anyone with a ranger (others vehicles welcome??)
what: ranger meet 4x4 (4x2 welcome???)
where: Basketball Hall of Fame
when: October 25th at 12:00 P.M. (Saturday)
why: because we can
does that sound right??? im not the one organizing it, but i thought i would make it as simple as possible for everyone.
we should do a head count..
i am bringing one ranger supercab.....3 friends
so thats 4 for me

got a friend with a 80's Toyota coming, 33's w torsion bar crank, its Tonka truck yellow.
cant miss it.

Only truck out of that i would bring is maybe the yota... but thats it. . rest of them I really dont want up there for traction reasons... Im gonna scout out the trail tommoarw to see how bad it is.. I will keep u informed.. a stock rig should do ok though it with some spotting.. and hopefully u all coming are running a decent agressive tire... no street tires up there.. Just ruins the day for everyone yea know?.. like i said im sure there wil be alot of spare seats.. I dont want more than 6-7 trucks going up there at a time ... dont wanna deal with EP..

it is illegal to go up there. maybe consider going to some legal places around instead

the merc. is out and so is the f-150, the '97 ranger lowrider is out too.

define street tyers.....i have Toyo Open Country AT's 235/75. thier 1 year old, fronts are in bad shape because of camber issues.

if its illegal up there we can always go to the "bird sanctuary" its near Bay path college on Route 5 on Barkhall road, its in Longmeadow. Theres no "no tresspassing" signs anywhere and ive always gone there without any problems....spent the whole day there many times...its kinda small but its something...its stocker friendly too.

the flats are legal. i have talked to the police in longmeadow those are public town roads. you just have to stay out of the wildlife sanctuary.

i can post some pics before the weekend comes up........define "out of the sanctuary" because some of the trails lead into the woods...but there is still no signs anywhere..the "main" trail leads down to the CT river right across from Six Flags.
"trail rash" can be an issue if your not careful...and if your going to go with the windows down (the real way to wheel) then wear plenty of bugspray because the skeeters are intense. Agian its kinda of a small area to wheel, so you there from New Jersey, i dont think it would be worth it for you.
And God PLEASE BRING SOME RAIN!!!!!!! its SUPER dry up there right now.
