New Distributor has a bunch of holes?

I'm in the process of doing the duraspark swap. I got a really good deal on a new distributor that I couldn't pass up, so I went with that. Thing is, when I bolt on the cap adapter, there are a number of small holes. There's a pretty decently sized one where the vacuum linkage enters too. Will this be an issue? I'm only asking because the original dizzy doesn't have any holes.

It's just a DD, but I wasn't sure if a hard rainstorm or a good puddle splash would give me issues?

The reluctor coil is sealed it should be just fine your engine would be under water before water would get up there. You should change the cap and rotor regularly is all that may be affected by moisture.

Yeah, those holes are OK. I thought you meant on the cap when I initially read your post.
