Anyone know where to buy a new one, or the cost to get one made? I had to cut this hose when I replaced the transmission as could not get it off the old slave. I had it connected with a hose and some hose clamps but now it comes off all the time. Any suggestions? I am tired of being stranded under the truck trying to rig it back to get home.

That one wont fit my year:

Fits these Vehicles
•1988-1990 Ford Bronco II
•1991-1991 Ford Explorer
•1988-1991 Ford Ranger

The fitting for the master cylinder does not appear to be the same fitting which uses the pin only. maybe it might be cheaper for me to just get a new master cylinder and this type of hose.

At that age, I'd just go try to find a new master with a line attached. I mean, it might cost a bit more, but how many miles, and how many shifts does that thing have on it? I tell ya what, you won't be happy if you are going down the road and that seal around the push rod gives out.

Ever try getting brake fluid out of the carpets? No fun.

I had one made at a brake/clutch shop for about $40. Put on a piece of heater hose to protect it from the exhaust and 6 mos so far no problems.
