New Car

so much for checking those tires out before the trade.

cant change the past, somethings get missed, espically when your a "first time buyer", shit happens. Her fault for not looking at them when she traded for the car.

But now she has a "new" fender, repaired wiring, and a full new set of tires. Now attention can be guided towards some other little problems.

tires are kinda of a big deal to look at when buying a car if not the last thing you look at but what all problems is she having?

you gonna throw a fast motor in that thing and smoke all these TRS american car lovin bitches? :thefinger: hahaha

Idle surging, suspect is a couple vacuum lines that are broke/not connected. and coolant temp is not registering on the gauge. suspect so far is thermostat or temp sensor.

also, check status on the malfunctioning a/c. its getting cooler out, so not much of a need for now, but in the months to come, it will become a mainstay in normal Florida travels.

no the bad balljoint just woulda gave out eventually

seriously it was a blowout no big deal .... will cost $200 max to get all that fixed before paint

wow that sux big ding dong. No one wants to thrash a car they just got. tough luck, but it dosen't look too bad. just a good reason to take it through the desert and see what it can do before repairing =]

Sorry to hear about that. But In reality, you did a great job keeping the damage that minimal. I saw a guy in a probe have a zipper rupture kind of like that and he totalled the car, and he was going no more than 50. You did a good job, sorry to hear about the loss of a new car.

I'm sorry but I don't see how in hell a tire caused that much damage, the fender is bent all the way back to the door, and how the shit did it tear your turn signal off?:icon_confused:
Somethings not being told.

Do you see the huge hunk of rubber hanging off the tire there, probably more than a foot and a half long?

Yeah. Good observation skills. Try to piss off someone other than TGD for once, we're all sick of people doing that.

what do you feel is not being told? As you can see, my truck in is the background, and i took the pictures right after we pulled off the road. the tire looked poor when i first saw it, but not poor to the point where it would do what it did. but as you can see, it didnt fair well for to much longer.
