Greetings,
I'm a new member from Mendon, NY. We have four BII's between me and my son. Two 88 XL's, one 89 XL and a 90 XLT. We have had the oldest one since 1999 and it is now doing snow plow duty in the winter with a SnoWay plow.
The other three are from South/North Carolina where they have never seen salt. We brought them up to New York in the past three years.
These vehicles all have the 5-speed manual transmission, floor transfer selector and manual locking hubs (except the 90 XLT which has the push button 4WD option).
I have a problem wih the 89 which I will define in another thread and hope that I can get some help as this one baffles me.
Hope I can offer some help to others in the future.
