Ok... I've looked all around this site and I need a definite answer to my problem. I'm replacing the factory body mounts with polyurethane bushings from Prothane... I've got all the bolts out and I've followed the instructions for beating the mounts apart but they aren't budging. I'm gonna hafta cut them apart. Do I need to reuse the factory parts that are rusted together? Can I get new ones somewhere? My local NAPA is of no help... Somebody please point me in the right direction... I'm stuck...

I did something similar about six years ago...Ford wanted $100 per mount...I ended up paying about $600 for just the mounts...

Some people on here suggested lift kit parts that should work for you...as long as they're the proper diameter and you use grade 8 bolts you might be able to piece it together...or you could try LMC...never used them myself but I hear they've got just about everything...

If I'm careful and cut them off close to the bottom, can I reuse the ones I've got? Really not wanting to pay $50 for each sleeve on LMC truck...
