Through some weird stroke of luck, i can across a hell of a deal on some 33x12.50x15 BFG All Terrain TA/KO's. Almost brand new, had maybe 1200 miles on them, and they had been on a wrangler. I checked with a depth guage and found one tire down by 3/32nds of an inch around the outer edge, and the rest only 1-2/32nds all across. So i busted my ass last night to clean up my wheels and get the mounted today. Then slung them on the truck and went for a ride, mad its totally different going from 10.50's on a 5.5 inch wheel to 12.50's on a 8.5 inch wheel. Well, on with the pics.....

My New meats with old wheels (These are 30 years old, for those keeping track, so is the truck. My dads old wheels on my dads old truck....*sniff)

Can you tell these wheels have been in a back corner of our basement for 16ish years?

Whats coming off. Im keeping them mounted for pulling trailers, hauling heavy loads, and long trips.

Done with the back, on to the front!

And finally the moment you've ALL been waiting for....

It looks tight at the front..and it is. Maybe an inch and a half from the tire to the front of the wheel opening when turning. But hey, they clear the radius arms a whole lot better. Hope you enjoy, lets see how long i can run these bad boys. Dont she just look SEXY!! I hope my GF doesnt mind climbing a little bit higher. And yes i do have center caps, im going to strip, sand, and paint them black and see how i like it, if i dont, ill spray them silver metallic.

Don't spray them black, Sprints look sooo sexy if you buff them. I have a set for my truck, I just need the tires to put on them.

im not spraying the wheels, just the centers. They rusted back in the day and were painted a brown that matched the truck.....but with three shades of brown NOW, they dont match any more. So i figure black is a nice neutral colour to start with.

Ah ok, right on.
