New B2 Owner in SC

Hey everyone,

I am newly active here, although I have been around a while. My son and I redid an 89 Ranger a few years ago that was a fun ride (til the dash fire!). That truck is long gone. More recently, we decided to cash-in on the price of used cars and get rid of my wife's 2018 Escape. We used the equity to pick up a near-twin to her first vehicle - a red Bronco II. We found this 89 in Alabama and rented a U-Haul to go get it. It IS adorable!

Good eye! The original owners flat towed it behind their RV. I'm sure they put the transfer case into neutral. They replaced the engine and had the transmission rebuilt. It's in really good shape, but it does need a few things.

Here's a quick update. I made metal brackets that mount atop the tow bar locations. These brackets allowed me to mount the new fog lights as well and put a small D-ring in each location with a stainless steel bolt. I came across an ebay deal on four Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT tires, which are 235/75R15. I plan to sandblast the wheels and spray them with a saltwater solution so they rust over, which I will then coat periodically with Penetrol to give the corrosion some depth. This is the same process we did on the the Ranger's wheels, which turned out great. I also picked up four new chrome center caps, which will make the wheels pop even more.
