New, and have 2000 Ford Ranger questions!

How's it going, my names Don, im currently working on bringing a 2000 Ford Ranger to life. I have a few questions,

1.) Is it possible to use the power train from a 2007 Ford Ranger, into a 2000? I believe you have a 4 year different to where it wouldn't matter too much. But not to sure. The '07 ranger is a complete parts vehicle, duh to roll over, pretty brand new, cabs smashed in.

2.) What other vehicles have the same specs as a '00 Ford ranger when it comes to a front bumper? ( Ford ranger compatable with jeep bumpers, visa versa?)
I'd greatly appreciate hearing from one of you guys! Thanks!

2000 to 2007 Rangers had 5 different engine models
4.0l OHV
4.0l SOHC
3.0l OHV
2.5l Lima
2.3l Duratec

And no, none are interchangeable, except the 3.0l OHV

Your 2000 can have a 4.0l OHV, 3.0l OHV, or 2.5l Lima
ONLY a 2007 3.0l would be a match for engine and transmission swap into a 2000 3.0l
Assuming both are 2WD or both 4x4s

If its a 2000 4.0l OHV or 2.5l then no 2007 engine would work
