Have been looking at upgrading my seats for a few months now. Cut the 60/40 driver side seat to get a center console in but still no luck in the junkyard on finding seats. Maybe for the better. Take I found some seats out of a Explorer. Its going to have to have new pads and be recovered. Each seat on pads and recovered is over $400. That may be too much. Was looking at new aftermarket seats online and can get 2 new seats that fit under $400 with free shipping. Am I missing something? There were many options on buying seats that would fit under $400. My seat bolts are 14 x 15.5" on the tracks. Would like to sit just a little lower than the OEM seats I have now. I don't need a harness, just 2 buckets. Anyone buy new seats can give me a brand name that is not junk. Thanks

sounds about right on the seats getting reupholstered. its basically a custom job, even though it's factory equipment. just got the worktruck seat done for $495. Chevy c7500 bench seat, gray vinyl, nothing spectacular. I told the boss we could get some badass seats, used, but, i work for the state government and they cant buy used, even though the truck is 20 yrs old. smh
