New adventure for all trs members!!!

Texas ...I'm from south Texas we have untold numbers of rangers and do much land you could do the whole run here lol. Don't forget about us!

Vanessa and I were cracking up talking about the idea of it being a blow up doll instead of a banner. I can just see the poor SOB that has to take her across the border.

There would be so many funny photos and stories. We may not have that many people here with that much humor, and I'd hate to see our poor doll get abandoned. LOL.

If it was a doll, it would have to have a name, a white TRS t-shirt, and would always have to be inflated and seatbelted in the passenger seat.

I can get her from Lansing to St. Louis but it will be in big dumb and black

The Ranger Bum.

Giving it a real name would be predictable. This is an inflatable person bumming across the continent. It's the Ranger Bum.

It's going to be better than the banner. It's going to be good enough to warrant it's own web page with photos and a blog for people hosting it. It would be better if it were a real person who could take photos and blog about the experience, and I think that could still be done. It would be like National Geographic. With the Ranger being discontinued, it would be like a goodbye tour--hitching rides across North America only in Rangers after the 30 year run. Sponsorship? That could really work.

Second is the blow-up doll. That is funny, but less powerful.

[threadjack] Will ....... when did you move to Columbus IN ....... I thought you lived closer to cindyisnasty? [/threadjack]

I moved 7 miles north east because my wife wanted high-speed internet. We are renting our place in the woods to a nice family, and the place we live now is basically a hayfield with a few acres of woods surrounding it and a couple of barns--just outside of Columbus. I traded absolute silence and darkness for distant interstate noise and the glow of city lights over the treeline. I have room to turn around as I'm no longer in the hills, so I bought another big trailer--a 25' gooseneck deckover--and my junk fits better. But I miss the tranquility. I have natural gas now, though, so I don't have to cut, split and store firewood like the ant and the grasshopper anymore like I did for 12 winters over there. It's been 2 years, exactly, and I'm still not at home here.

I would be willing to transport the ranger bum since I'm right on the border of Iowa, and Illinois.

Hell I'm in!!! Me, dg and somee other people for whom I forgot. Can.cover south louisiana!

bump....................for members who haven't heard of the new adventure yet.................

Is this thing still gonna happen? I missed the banner last time, wanna make sure I get in on this one! Might even have my Ranger back together by then...

Yes. It's going to start out in Alaska. I probably won't be able to get a banner made up and sent out until the end of February or the begining of March.

Why Alaska first? Because Our members to the north waited patiently for the last banner and didn't get an opportunity. They got first dibs this time around.
