Probably not many of you know that I build ambulances. So there is a brand new 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty at work. Willingont, SC is the lucky city getting it. I'm not sure if my dad's line will get or or another line. I hope my dad's line gets it. I also got some pictures of other trucks at work.

That will be one hot bus.

The full size International bus' look a ton better though and have a TON more room in the body.

test drove one last Saturday....they pull like crazy ( was just a F-250 w/diesel )

what they gonna do with the old bodies????

Holy crap a diesel with 4.10s.......maybe im just way to new to diesels but i always see em with 3.55s or the such....... how does everyone like the ford diesels

No underhood shots?! I didn't know they were changing the body for 2011 too, we'll see if it grows on me in a few years, but I'm not really diggin the looks of it.

my buddies '94 powerstroke has 4.10s.

it looks sweet. ford has been on a crusade to change everything in it's line up for 2011 almost.

You can get 4.88's/5.38's in the F550's..... You guys look like you do some pretty good work. I do fleet maintanence for a wireline company so we do a lot of work on vanbody's on trucks up to 15 yrs old, so we get to see a lot of different manufacturers work and how it holds up. Nice to know they have a 6spd auto now, extra gears never hurts!

i got to ride in one of those e350 ambulances last week. motorcycle accident. dont remember much about the inside though i was kinda out of it. im ok now though..keep up the good work man, those emts saved my life cuz their quick response!!

The old boxes? They will eventually be mounted down on chassis and sold.

No underhood shots?!

I completely forgot about underhood shots. I might be able to get some Sunday. But I do know the turbo is not o top of the motor.

And I also forgot to mention, the 2011 is the 3rd or 4th one off the assembly line.

the turbo isn't on top? I thought that was the whole reason they went with reverse induction on the new engine?

edit: it is its just buried under plastic.

The F450 I was looking at had 4.88's. They are made for PULLING shit.

Yeppers, the 6.7 has a Valley mounted turbo setup, you just have to dig through the plastic covers to find it.

They are freaking sweet motor, they already have people pulling over 26 mpg's with them and one freak even pulled a 34mpg (stretching the ticket on uuber econo driving, and getting stuck with 3.31 gears? yes...but the fact that you can see a number like that in a super duty...amazing.)
