New 1989 Ranger 4x4

Hello, I’m new to the Ranger world, just picked up a 1989 Ford Ranger Custom, 5 speed 4x4 regular cab, 2.3, short bed. I’d like to know what transmission I have specifically what transmission fluid I need to use. I’m not much of a mechanic but learning!

It should be an M50D R1 and use the "old stuff" for fluid, the new stuff will ruin it.

That little truck is a jewel...

Looks a bit reminiscent of where this one started. @BlackBII did an amazing job with his second gen. Have a look through his build and get inspired even more..
