I have 2003 Mazda B3000 duel sport not bad little truck how can I get more power out of it a little doggie if you know what I mean. The other thing can I fit 15x10 with 31" tires on it

31's should fit,,may have to crank the t-bars if equipped. Use the search button at the top right ,,,should be tons of info on your 3.0

the 3.0 has been noted as being underpowered, but dumping a supercharger or turbocharger on it might help...expensive alternative in some cases...

I wonder if anyone has tried Nitrous Oxide boost...maybe a google search is in order...

EDIT: Just searched...plenty of kits availble...but the best one seems to be for the 4.0...didn't see anything specific on the 3.0 (on Google, that is)...

As stated, forced induction. If you dont have that kind of cash, and are mechanically inclined, junkyards are full of rangers and f150s, so a 4.0 or 302 can be had for as little as 300 bucks. the 4.0 is a much easier swap, but i believe the 302 will require custom fab to get it in

a co-worker of mine let me drive his '03 ranger with the 3.0 in it. I dont know what you guys are talking about, but that thing has wayyyyy more power compared to the 2.3 of which i have in my ranger...

than again, its a 2.3, its smaller.

the 3.0 is definatley not a good motor if you want blow your socks off performance, but what it is good for is obeying the speed limit and doing so for years to come. thats why i chose to fully rebuild one and take the time to go through the entire truck to ensure it would last as long as the motor.

check into an under drive pulley kit and an electric fan if it isnt already equipped with one. this will help free up some power, but it still wont be as strong as a 4.0

That was the main reason I bought a Tempo and not a 5.0 Mustang...since I'm prone to having a heavy foot, it's best to not have too many ponies waiting at my beck and call...

if you measure 31x10.5's they are really 8 inches wide.you don't want that with a 10" wheel it will look like it needs white walls and gold spokes.

as for power keep the motor around 3000 rpm where its happy and or regear it to 4.56 or lower.they are a car motor and need revs for a heavy truck
