Neutral safety switch 88

Hey guys, i'm trying to learn some mechanic and i have a 88 ford ranger for that.
I am having problems to strat the car. I am pretty sure it is an electronical issue. I was looking for the neutral safety switch and i took this out
What it is ?! ( dont laugh at me Loool )

Pulse generator (road speed) for the cruise control and possible the PCM, and the speedometer gear. These should not affect starting the engine.
