hello I have a question I want to put a 5.0 efi into my 1983 ranger does anyone have link for this exact swap I do not want to do a carb swap.

I have read it like 3 times doesn't tell you how to put a efi into a 83 to 85 only carburated like do i need to put in a electric fuel pump or get a fuel tank from a newer 4.0 ranger and how do i wire it in there are seriously no write ups on this just videos and pictures of it after the swap. And will my c5 work with the efi auto ecu?

I think you'd be best to find a donor vehicle, take the motor, trans, ecu, wires, and necessary other bits.
Get pieces that were designed to match together, then make em fit in your truck.

Try the advanced search function, its a great way to find old threads pertaining to what you're trying to do.

And welcome to the forum. This is a great place to find info on these trucks, with some very knowledgeable people. Keep asking questions, someone will usually know your answer.

Thanks man. Ill just keep searching harder and ill try to take pictures of what I do so that if someone wants to put a 5.0 efi in carborated ranger/bronco II... probably wont see any thing till mid October.
