Need your opinion

I know the cheaper ones that I see crud up a lot faster in harsh conditions and I see the guts seperate from the casing more often (still not a frequent occurance).

I just use the Motorcraft ones myself, change them once a year and never have a problem.

Do NOT... (absolutely) DO NOT buy a fuel filter that is made in China (this includes Fram & Purolator).

What adsm said, then all the crud it's collected goes to your injectors at once:

Buy Motorcraft from a dealer if you have to, there are still some non-chinese ones out there.

(and that inline filter you linked is for low-pressure carbureted systems, you cannot use that one on a fuel-injected vehicle)

Exactly...you'll blow up your truck & yourself with a filter like that....you need a direct replacement filter made for your high pressure fuel system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Purolator fuel filters are the biggest offenders for seperation. I have had good experience with their air filters though.
