need to bypass pats

I have a 97 4.0 manual that had a 4.0 ohv and i put a sohc out of a 02 ranger that was also a manual. So it cranks over put that is because im using my 97 starting system but i have no injector puls i do have power to them and i do have spark. i think i have the right key that came with the ecm and i wired in the transifer and still no go. so any help would be help full. i have a problem similar to yours but I have: A 99 with a 03 sohc swapped in with a 03' computer for a 4.0 auto, Problem is 03 computer has pats equipped, and i am working with a 99 ignition with a different way the pats signal is sent. forgot what exactly it was. point is truck wont start without some changes. any advice???/

i also have a 02 ignition with key from a 2.4. possibly can be used
