Need steering cover help

I need to get into my steering wheel to find a bare wire that keeps blowing a fuse. I think it is the wire going to the O/D.
I have never messed with the steering wheel and would like to know how to remove the cover to get in there.
Do I have to mess with the airbag?
Pictures are always helpful.

Is there an online source for a microfiche of this area?

We need to know what kind of vehicle you are dealing with...

There should be no wires in the steering wheels related to OD, only for the cruise control.

Microfiche have pretty much died out, if it is something newer you are probably out of luck.
