sometimes when i start my truck up it idles really rough right around 500 rpms as opposed to the normal right around 900. there is no hesitation on start up, it just occasionally idles really low. also, sometimes when i am driving and i go to change gears, as soon as i push the clutch in the rpms just drop to 500 instead of gradually decreasing. it doesn't do these things all the time, just randomly every once in a while. and, these last couple of days, i have noticed a whistling noise when i accelerate. this whistling noise is also a random thing. i'm thinking idle air control valve, but what the heck is this random whistling noise. i'll check all my vacuum lines again in a little bit but other than that i have no clue. oh, and there are no engine codes being given. just want some opinions. thanks in advance.
