need some more lift

i want to lift my 87 ranger 2-3 inches more. it has a skyjacker 6" lift on it already. i dont really want to do the body lift. is the any other options that would allow me to lift it more?

You could upgrade to 8" coils, or install spacers but thats as high as you'd want to go before you run into major steering and alignment issues. If you haven't you should look into a super runner style steering system, as well as the extreme drop pitman arm.

the skyjacker came with the pitman arm? would that still work if i put in the 8" coils?

Was it the 4-6" arm, or the 6-8"? If it is indeed the Xtreme drop arm then it will work fine, but if not it's worth upgrading to as it will keep your steering angles workable. THIS thread show's very well the difference between the two, so you can figure out which one your truck has.
