so i have an 87 ranger 4x4 and it has a stock dana 28 in the front and the ford 7.5 in the rear. it has a skyjacker 6inch lift already on it and i was wondering is it cheaper for me to do the dana 35 and 8.8 swap or the 8.8 and a 44 or 30? also what is the size difference from what i have to a full size axle from a bronco of a f-150 dana 44 and a ford 9? thanks for any information it will help out alot

It will be cheaper to upgrade to a D35 and 8.8, and those axles will literally bolt in without any fabrication. Built RBV axles seem to sell for around $3-500 each, and I've seen D30 or D44s go for twice that.

ok thats kinda what i thought. the one thing that i dont like about the ttb is how you have to aline them. does that get any eaiser with the dana 35 or is it the same?

If that's referring to the camber bushing setup, it's MUCH easier on the D35, as you don't have to break the balljoint stud loose like on a D28. Just loosen a pinchbolt, remove a snapring and the bushing pulls right out.
