Well, I'm not quite sure how it happened, but I managed to fracture one of my front spindles. Today I noticed the tire was leaning quite a bit, so I pulled off the tire and rotor to inspect the bearings. Thats when I found the spindle has a crack running from the bottom to about 1/4 inch to the top. Surprised the tire hadn't taken off on its own.
Anyhow, since I'm away from home and visiting family in Tooele, UT I'm a bit stuck for proper tools. I'm hoping a few people on here might be in town or at least in Salt Lake City, and would be willing to give me a hand. I need to find a press to change out the spindle. Also, I need to find a new or used spindle to replace it with. Calling around I haven't had much luck. So if anyone happens to have an extra one laying around they would like to sell, please let me know.
