hey guys i got a bone stock 95 2.3l 4cylinder 2wd....im just about to fix it from a wreck not too much damage but after its fixed and running i wanna lift it and put bigger tires on it....i dont want huge tires or a huge lift.. i especially dont wanna do anything that will cause me to have to buy tons of new stff for body and or truck in general to make it fit......whats a good low cost lift that wwont make me have to buy alot of new stuff...one that all i need to do is slap it on to my bone stock truck and will work fine? and whats a safe size tire that will fit properly without any rubbing or needing altercations??please respond and help a novice out lol thanks rangers!

leveling kit and 31's if you have low enough gears.

thanks friend...what kind of leveling kit?like what is that? and how do i find out what kind of gears i have and if their low enough or not?mines a standard so im not sure how to do that and why does the gears have to be low enough? sorry complete novice hahaha thanks for ur help and hopefully future help

check the tag on the rear differential. most likely yours will say 3 45 for a 3.45 ratio. to run 31's you will probably want at leats 3.73s, i ran 30's with 345 gears and starting in first sucked but the rest is ok.

There's a chart in the tech library that will tell you what gears to get for the tire size you go with.

How is this something that could have not been covered in one of your other two current threads that are asking roughly the same question or questions that are in this same vein?

4.0L front coil springs and add-a-leaf or shackle lift. I ran 29" super swampers on my 95 2.3 2wd, looked great, there shoulda been room left to fit 31's too
