Need opinions on what clutch/flywheel to buy

Looking into buying a new Flywheel and clutch kit for my 94 4.0l 2wd. It's still just a street truck. I'm wondering what is a good stock replacement that's available out there. Eventually it will be built into a Prerunner so it's going to get some "abuse" in the dunes.

Also if it matters, i just did a 2.3/4.0 hybrid swap.

No, that should not matter at all regarding the clutch.

The LUK Rep-Set hands-down is best there is in a stock-fitment clutch (and will sustain plenty of abuse, so should be good if you later start doing the prerunner thing).
LUK makes the OEM clutches for Ford.

I've seen issues ranging from squealing to disintegration of the disc with other brands, so stick with LuK (I understand Centerforce is also good if you want a grippier performance-type clutch, but I have no personal experience with them).

Luk is a very good brand. As Junkie said they make the OEM clutches for Ford, they also make Napa's set.

I put a ceramic clutch in my truck last summer and while it is doing well it is starting to squeal and it is VERY grabby, which makes getting a smooth launch tricky at best. I got this one because it was advertised as being for abusive use, and I kinda broke my last one.

No, that should not matter at all regarding the clutch.

Gotta get that lower gearing bro.

I've also had good luck with Luk clutches. I did use an Mpact brand one recently and it's been working great as well.

Awesome! Thanks Gents, looks like i'm going to order the LUK Heavy Duty clutch from rockauto, $139 shipped. Going with a LUK flywheel as well.
