I’m trying to build a 4wd daily driver prerunner. I’m need suggestions for some front suspension kits/ideas I have the rear figured out but I can’t find any 4wd long travel kits. Any suggestions welcome.

Did you try Camburg?

The 98-11 suspension design doesn’t lend itself as well to long travel designs and a lot of the manufacturers that did make weld-on kits have largely either moved on to newer vehicles or they’ve gone out of existence so short of shelling out big bucks or trying to find used, you’re probably going to be stuck with fabricating your own.

Long wheel travel was easier to achieve on the older TTB/TIB (Twin Traction Beam - 4x4, or Twin I-Beam - 2wd) because the axle geometry was designed around greater articulation. Of course, most of that stuff is waaayy out of production. That would be the 83-97 stuff.

Pre-Runners are usually 2WD, the name "pre-runner" has been hijacked in my opinion, lol

A pre-runner "is a vehicle that tests the terrain and the trail before the actual event to ensure a safe rally", and much cheaper to repair than the off-road racing vehicle used in the rally/race, so 2WD is cheaper to repair if damaged
:)

So you want a 4WD off-road racing vehicle with long travel but street legal
