well after swapping parts to a buddy for what he said was a holley 350, checking the numbers it turned out to be a 500. i had to do something my stock feedback carb with metering block wasnt acting right, so i went to summit and got a new 350cfm carb. it took me a while to get it right as i had some carb stud and choke clearance problems, tried the holley studs and they stripped, so i cut down the stock one. anyways it has the manual choke. first off how do i use it? like a 4wheeler choke before start and when it shuts off crank with choke off? or do u leave it on for a while?

heres why i ask, when i start it with the choke on the idle raises and then it stalls out. and with the choke off when its cold its a bitch to keep running until it warms up. how do i set the choke so it does right? any other time it cranks right up
