So I gotta 1992 2.3 8 plug that is junk I went and bought a 1986 2.3 4 plug outta a mustang that I plan on changing over from EFI to carburetor will it work so I don't don't have to swap computers and everything cuz I'm on a 2 day time crunch and advise would be appreciated thanks in advance

Yes it will work. But your would be better off swapping the 8 plug head onto the older engine and leaving the efi alone.

Leave the 4-plug head, and let the 4 extra plugs flop in the breeze. Actually, disconnecting the coil for that side would work. The older engine is EFI, and you'd just have to fiddle with either swapping injectors, or the rail, or the wires.
You'd take more time fitting a carb, fuel supply and linkage than disconnecting the extra coil pack. IMO.
