I have a 1998 Ranger XLT Standard Cab 2WD. I've done some modifications to it recently, and I want to put some larger tires on it just for the time being before I actually get into lifting it. I've found that the tire that is recommended for my truck is a 235/60-15. If I remove the front splash guards on it, what is the largest tire size I could put on it without causing steering issues, etc.???

Thanks. I've looked at that Tire Fitment Guide plenty of times, but the chart specifies the height of lift with each option. My truck isn't lifted at all. Would you just happen to know a couple of sizes that would point me in the right direction, or somewhere else on the site that has the exact information I need. Not trying to be a smartass, but that chart also is for 4WD vehicles, and I know that 4WD vehicles sit higher than my truck at stock height.

Thanks.
