I went to the local Safeway to buy some things and when I came out there was tater sauce on the drivers side of my truck, so when I got home I washed it off and now three days later there are streaks of grease where the tarter sauce was and I cant get it off does anyone know how I can take care of this problem?

Try hot water and dishsoap. Wd40 would not be a good idea, it may take the tarter sauce off, but it would then leave a film that will repel water and collect dirt and grime. If the hot water and dishsoap doesn't work, try some adhesive remover or other solvent based cleaner. Just don't use something to agressive like laquer thinner, or it'll take the shine out of your paint, and possible damage it.

Yup! the stuff is a better cleaner than most cleaners. It will even remove bubble gum from carpet! It doesn't work very good as a penetrant because it evaporates quickly.
Brake clean on a cloth will do the job.

wd-40 works great for removing pretty much anything thats stuck on. its easy to wipe off with a cotton cloth afterwards.

dish soap strips wax...so if you use that, wax the area afterwards.

for tree sap, any of the previously mentioned products or butter.
