Hi,

Brand new owners of a high mileage 1999 Ford Ranger V6. Will be the 15 year old's first car.

He got a little ahead of himself, and tried to change the PCV valve without me. He pulled the hose off BOTH ends. It's about 10 inches or so.

We can get the PCV valve back where it should be, and the hose attached to it, but I have NO IDEA where it connects from there.

Binged many YouTubes but have not been able to find out where the heck this hose goes to reconnect it. Would LOVE some help.

Thanks in advance. Likely to be the first of many SOS's I send to y'all.

Is it a 4.0 or 3.0? Idk where the pcv line runs on the v6s apart from into the intake tract..but someone else definitely will.. might depend on displacement though.

under the intake, just behind the throttle body.
look into the area where the injectors are, it's above the 2nd or 3rd injector hanging down from the intake.
that hose gets very brittle, be careful with the ends.

Hey, closing the loop here. Found it under the intake manifold above the #2 spark plug. Was GREATLY helped by a little $20 endoscope that connects to my phone I got on Amazon.
