Ok i got a que on my 5.0 swap.. Im using a aod trans and my stock trans slip yoke wont work with the aod the yoke is to small.. I have a another slip yoke that came out of the donor car can i just switch the yokes out and if u can is there a special u joint that u gotta usr cause i dont think the stock ranger u joint i think the mustang u joint is to big.. Ive heard of people switchong em out but i dont know what u joint to grt any help would greatly be apperocated

Any drivelinee place should be able to help ya out. I just matched mine up using the c6 slip yoke i had from my donor. If your driveshaft length is ok it should work fine. I believe the sizing between the ears on the ranger yoke is 3.5in where the c6 was 4inch. You can get a joint with two different sized ends like a 1310-1330 or 1350 whatever size the new v8 slip yoke size is and then attach to the old ranger driveshaft.

thanks crakel that answers my question i greatly appericate it
