Need help on stalling issue

2000 Ranger 2.5 automatic. After it warms up and i shut it down for
15 min. I restart it and runs fine for a few seconds then stalls.
Fuel pump is working right. changed the ect sensor and the IAC valve.
New MAF. does anybody have an idea what could be causing this?

Well, I have heard of this issue on older vehicles...something to do with a component getting too hot and then not working properly...IAC or TFI...but it may not apply to the newer engines...maybe search on IAC to see if that brings up anything...

I searched on "won't start after warmed up" or something similar but the results were all on 80's models so I figured it was something else...
 
Try priming it before every start.
Turn the key to Run, wait 3 sec while the fuel pump primes, turn key to Off.
Repeat, THEN crank the starter.

Report back whether that helps.

Could be a stuck open fuel injector, the fuel pump checkvalve or the FPR (also in the tank).

The key test is whether the fuel pressure is bleeding off, making it stall on restart.

I prime everything I own that is fuel injected, just like I described. They start instantly, saving wear on battery and starters.

Mine is carbed with an electric fuel pump and I do that exactly. I used to just crank it and maybe it would start or maybe it would take two cranks. Now I turn the key on, let the pump prime up, pump the gas (not recommended on FI) and crank the engine and it starts usually first time.
