Need help on a 302 swap on a 95 ranger 3.0

I have a 95 ranger 2wd with a 3.0 5 speed,I recently purchased a used
1992 302ho out of mustang and it has the aod trans,I have heard and
read about 2.9 & 4.0 to 5.0 conversion but has anyone performed a 3.0 to 5.0 conversion?

Don't think it matters much what motor you start with, the wiring and fitment is all the same. With the 4.0 swap, you do start out with the better cooling system and the 8.8 rear end.
